The Corner Stable on York Rd in Cockeysville, MD is a famous Maryland institution with emphasis on creating great food and a warm “at home” atmosphere. In 2011, our Corner Stable Family grew to include our second restaurant at the Kings Contrivance Village Center in Columbia, MD.

The Corner Stable was our go-to restaurant back in the 80s and 90s before I moved to New Jersey. Those delicious ribs and fries were sorely missed over the years. Then two weeks ago I learned I could have them shipped to my house and jumped at the opportunity. The ribs arrived today and were just as fantastic as I remember! Thank you Corner Stable!!
Been going here for about two decades whenever I am in town, and thankfully it's never really changed. The menu and beer list have expanded but I only ever order the ribs or the Show Stopper(full rack of ribs and 1/2lb crab cake) when I am really hungry. They do awesome fall-off-the-bone ribs and the all jumbo lump crab cakes! I highly suggest the ribs and fries, and use the extra sauce for the fries, about the only place I don't want ketchup for my fries.
The BEST crab cakes I've had in easily 15years. The shrimp and the crab dip were both fantastic as well. A member of our party order the ribs and they looked good just a little small. The Mac and cheese and coleslaw were not anything to write home about. The service was fast and very good. I'll 100% be back for the crab cakes. Also very interesting they the had a Lent Menu. I've never seen this before
